This is a very nice all original example of a German WWII M40 helmet, issued to the a soldier in the German Heer (Army). This stamped sheet steel construction helmet retains much of its original paint but does show wear and use, probably has 80% remaining. The left side of the helmet features an original Heer eagle decal, which is retained about 95%, with slight damage from wear. There is also a soldiers name written
